First of all that movie was fabricated bullshit. Lang was never a starting QB for some major college football team who got injured and had to quit. Lang played high school basketball and he came off the bench, that's his claim to fame. The rest of that movie is just more made up crap for Hollywood. They couldn't even get financing for the movie until Bodog stepped in and made some shady deal with Lang. The movie was a box office flop, even the great Al Pacino couldn't save it.
As for Lang's Super Bowl record of 17-1-2, also bullshit. When Lang worked for Stu Feiner, ole Stuey spotted him the first 12 winners. When Lang was put on the spot during an interview and asked for proof that his record was real, Lang responded with, "I have friends who can verify it."
Lang was fired (Let Go) by Steve Budin because all Lang ever did was lose and Budin was tired of losing cash on the Lang money pit. While Lang worked for Budin he lost over 3000 Dimes. After he was fired he said it wasn't his fault he was a loser because Budin and DeMarco forced him to pick games everyday, even when he didn't want to. He also claimed he was forced to pick multiple games per day when he didn't want to. He couldn't even own up to the fact that his picks sucked, he had to put the blame on them.
Just remember, Lang is not a handicapper, he's a scamdicapper, preying on people like the OP of this thread who think he's a winner because of some fake streak and a fabricated movie about his life. Hell, his real name isn't even Brandon Lang, it's Brandon Link. He changed it to Lang after the movie came out because he knew that would help him scam people through name recognition from the movie.
